Maria Lopes: The Consciousness Field at Artsdepot

This interactive art installation by artist Maria Lopes demonstrates the neural pathways in the brain and uses pompoms to identify neurons. Through visitor interaction the exhibit explores individual definitions of consciousness.

What’s On in Camden?

Rose English

From 11 December 2015 to 21 February 2016

An exhibition of work by Rose English, who emerged out of the UK’s vibrant and pioneering feminist, conceptual art and dance scenes of the 1970s.

She has worked across numerous disciplines, contexts and under many different guises exploring performance, installation, theatre, dance and film. This exhibition will include new work produced for the exhibition within the vocabulary of her practice of the last 40 years.

Florian Roithmayr: with, and, or, without (FREE)

From 12 December 2015 to 21 February 2016

Florian Roithmayr (b. 1977) works with moulding and casting processes in his everyday and specialist applications, imagining and presenting the non-linear imprint, traces and transformations as unforeseeable gestures occurring in the interstice between mould and cast the consequence of one surface, material or body yielding another. Roithmayr’s concern for everyday environments is supported by his research of history, design and archaeology and his dissemination and understanding in popular culture.
